Obama won't have time to go for gun legislation? You just wait and see. OBAMA doesn't need time, as the President does not have the power to introduce legislation -- only Congress can do that. All it takes is ONE Congressman who thinks they now have the votes to take away our rights, and they're off to the races.
You said that right....however, he can call one of his 'buddies' into the oval office and tell them to write it up.

Im sure too things will get signed into law that he doesnt even know is in the writing. anyone that claims the president reads all the wording of a bill is full of it. he gets briefed, he asks if he's suppose to sign or veto, and then does so accordingly.

Buy them if you want them...and do so fast. clocks ticking!

Fellas, all this logic is wasted on the average citizen, even the ones who own guns. It takes way too much effort, and self accountability, to figure out the real reasons ,why the economy goes through ups and downs. Its alot easier to sit in front of the boob tube, and let comedians and socialists tell you who's to blame.

I havent been on here for along time,I have to respond to you riverboss.I know and so does everyone else the Pres.Bush could of done some things better. No one will ever do all the things right to suit everyones needs. But to blame Bush for the whole crisis!! Lets see this whole mess started with Pres. Carter no one payed much attention to it cause lending to people who couldnt afford the loan was a small problem at the time. The loan program increased with liberal leadersship in 1998-1999.Congress had afew members who were pushing for a more liberal loan process,to include more minorities.I personally saw 350,000.00loans to people who couldnt afford 100,000.00 homes. Then in 2006 the congress was invaded with liberals (Barney Frank,Nancy Pelosi,Harry Reid,Chris Dodd,Barbra Boxer and now even Al Franken?? wow). They knew the problem was there and didnt fix it.They sit on the hands and blamed Bush and all corparations for the problems. It just made me sick to see Chris Dodd debate the ceo's of fanny & freddie.Him and Frank should be ran out of congress and maybe put on trial.
They are going to keep things the way they are till 2010 then watchout. If the dems stay in control they will push a liberal agend that will shock most of us.Gun control, health care, social programs that will take our corparations down. They blame the rich for every thing well let me ask you how many poor people have you worked for?????
They have this BS about global warming no proof just a money trail.I hope when they are done you can still afford you electric bill.
I could go on but you my freind need to pay attention to their BS and read below the head lines.Obama is not the messiah liberals just try to make you think he is a knight in golden armor.I hope it doesnt rain on him for our sake!!!!

to start off with i am not a democrat i didnt vote for obama, i dont think obama is the messiah, im not blaming every thing on bush, but i do think that he defanitly could of done more ,and i have worked at a middleclass job all my life, ive seen what insurance companys have done to my occupation for the last 10 years in particular.and ive seen many of my friends and familys have to scratch out a living and watch others pay go down every year as a direct effect , business that send work over seas and then give there CEOs golden parachutes and watch the company go down the drain you should be able to buy a pair of nike shoes for 20 dollars but they put everyone that is good at sports on a multimillion dollar contract and let someone in a foreign country work for pennys on the dollar and give there CEOs millions instead of keeping americans working . its not bushes fault its not anyone in particulars fault but something has to give. if you think that your imune to it think again it can happen to anyone of us .im just using nike as a example there are plenty of companys that do it. we need to stop worring about other countrys so much and fix ours we are the greatest nation in the world but we are being looked at like were chumps.we are all equal but some people think they are better than others. the quote average citizens is bull**** that makes it seem that they are better and there not i hope that you dont ever have to see your job disapper but if you do just remember there are still people out here that care and can feel your pain.

...and you have the nerve to call me an idiot? Man, you really live in a dream world dont you? News flash, most people dont save money, they have DEBT!!!,they dont have savings, to spend when the economy goes south, as you claim. Dont you realize that if people saved their money and didnt run up their C/C bills, buying harleys, vactions, golf memberships and other crap they couldnt afford, instead of paying their mortgages and bills, the economy wouldnt be in the state its in, in the 1st place? Dont you realize its was the housing market that was the 1st thing to go in the crapper , which caused the credit crisis and so on, how was bush to blame for that?

Why dont you grow up ,and take some responsibility, for your own economic situation? Am I doing great, no, but Im at least mature enough to realize I coud have made better economic decisions ,when the economy was good for most of the bush years, and learn from them. Im not gonna blame the president like you.

Since you claim to already have enough guns and ammo to care about gun control( how thoughtful of you) then why dont you save the $$$ you were gonna spend on that brazilian made, staurday night special, you WANT, and put a few buck in the bank, if your so "worried about feeding your family" Im sure youll just continue to spend spend spend, what little money you have ,and just blame bush when you cant pay for your groceries and gas though. Like I said, typical, 21st century, victim mentality.

IMO its selfish, govt dependant, whiners like you, that continue to drive nail after nail, in the coffin of this, once great country. I hope your proud of yourself.

No, you didnt blame bush for everything you just put the entire economic blame on him, and claimed its his fault, people will start stealing. Gimme a break! This topic was about obammas obvious anti gun voting record and what his election has done for guns sales. You went ahead and tried to blame bush , bit of stretch at that, but now you wanna back peddal cause you realize how rediculous you sound.

As far as people thinking theyre special, I'd say your, "I got my guns and bullets so who cares if obama bans them now" attitude, shows how much you care about everyone else ,and the rights of the average citizen. Im simply stating a fact, about the way many people handle their finances and get political views from late night talk shows and comedy central. Heck ,your proof of that.
