Sierra Gamekings?

Hey all, I need a quick opinion on something. I' ve used 140 gr core-lokts in my .260 rem for the past few seasons with good results.... no complaints. I recently bought a box of Federal' s Sierra Gamekings in 140 gr and they shoot a little better out of the gun at 200 yards. 100 yards they do equally well. Anyway, I was thinking about the gamekings this year for deer, but then I heard some people saying that while they make for accuracy the on game performance isn' t all that great....... any opinions??? Any experience with sierras in general?

The gamekings have been around a long time and have taken countless deer, they will do just fine on deer size game. That' s all my uncle shoots deer with out of his 7mm mag.

took a nice 5 pointer this year using 165gr. sierra gamekings out of my 30-06sprg. nice hole and nice big blood trails. even though i did not see a sign of the deer being hit till about 10yds after he left the initial hit.

I use them in all my rifles and have had consistant performance at the range, and good results in the field. I won' t use anything else.
