Am I the only HNI guy going after an AR-15?

I'll set it up for Varmints....

Am I the only one getting them while they're hot?

Just may be our next best investment? We'll See. Maybe not.

My new DPMS AR-15 .223

It's on my wish-list, but just can't buy another gun right now. I have a buddy who's looking at one of these...

I would imagine there are quite a few folks here who already have at least one...

I've had three and sold them. Not my cup of tea. Now an AR-10 I'd like to have just way to much demand right now.

I have a buddy who has one so I have access to it whenever I would want to shoot it. I agree that it is a pretty sweet gun for varmints.

I currently have 5 AR-15's, and yes, they CAN be a good investment. I made $10K buying and selling AR's before Y2K, but I really don't think that will be the case now though.

I wouldn't be so sure. There was a big article today in the Houston Chronicle in which President Elect Obama was discussing the horrors of assault weapons being bought in Houston and then smuggled to drug lords in Mexico. You can bet your bottom dollar that the clown is going to push for a ban, and there's no one in the legislature who can stop him. AND, he'll soon be appointing some justices to the SCOTUS, where we currently enjoy a mere one vote advantage...

Well you might be getting them while they're "hot" but many of us have been enjoying them for years. They are not new by any means.

Have 2 of them already and have no interest in buying another in the current panic market.

RE: Am I the only HNI guy going after an AR-15?

I'm not saying they're new to me... and I've always wanted one for Yotes..but my dad, brother and I made the push because of the situation now. I look forward to reloading my own 223 and playing with my new DPMS.

Crazy how full the gun shops are right now. It's our right. I respect firearms...and preach safety with them.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that crime rate is less in the areas where CCW's are aloud and such....

Its human nature...criminals have fear knowing some may be carrying....I hate it when the Media finds a CCW guy that makes a mistake and blows it all out of proportion. Thats the reality. Sad.

Just a personal thing, but I wouldn't give you $100 for a truckload of them. Too ugly for me.

I'm running the A.R.M.S #22 rings on mine, but they would require the 1" reducers in them for your scope.

Here's a link to those rings:
