RE: 30.06 ammo tracers and armor piercing
I don't know but I've seen it at gun shows. I was always curious about the tracer rounds but don't trust putting that stuff through my trusty Sako. I guess if you can buy it, it might be legal. I don't know what you'd use it for, though.

RE: 30.06 ammo tracers and armor piercing
I started a dandy fire with tracers one day out shooting my old M1. How come you want to shoot em anyway?

Probably for hunting eh?
They would have a good chance of field-dressing and cooking your game all in one shot. Keep 'em all in the Bull. |
RE: 30.06 ammo tracers and armor piercing
Tracers are legal, I don't know about AP ammo though- most likely it is legal to possess and shoot.

RE: 30.06 ammo tracers and armor piercing
As far as AP's go rifle ammo is legal pistol ammo is a big no-no. But it is getting harder to find. That's national law, state and local law can be more restrictive despite what the Constitution says.

RE: 30.06 ammo tracers and armor piercing
why o/u becouse i can, why you ask are you ATF or feds ??? ok just funning you o/u why becouse i got access to them, and also shot them before armor piercing can split a bolling ball in half, and tracers are fun to shoot at night, and that fire you started was just plain dumm allways no your back stop , i shoot mostly in the desert where no fire's can be set , and no one can get hurt, just like to target shoot, well thats why i asked the question if they where leagal, dont whant to break the LAW ok sea yas

RE: 30.06 ammo tracers and armor piercing
SEAHONK!!!!!!! In California both tracers and Armor piercing rounds are FELONIES!!!!
Don't get caught with them bro. Not worth becoming a convicted felon and then NEVER being allowed to possess a gun again! Think about your deciscion before you do something you'll regret the rest of your life. |
