RE: Dealer License Question

Most of the gun shops I know around here work on 10 or 15%. The bigger stores like Cabelas and Bass Pro have a higher mark up. Plus with both you pay the fees for backgroud check etc.
Your friend can probably get you the gun for a few $$ less.

RE: Dealer License Question

Maybe if you bought it from an online auction, like Auction Arms or Gun Broker, and had it shipped to your FFL friend, who then does the records check & required paperwork. ............

RE: Dealer License Question

He should be able to save you a few $$$ on long guns. I can usually get them for $30-$100 cheaper than local gun dealersdependingon the gun. They buy in volume so they can get them cheaper but theyhave more mark up. Handguns are harder to save money on. Wholesale dealer have toship them overnight. I usuallycome inonlya fewdollars cheaper on handguns.
