410 Slugs And Full Choke
 

Wondering if anyone shoots 410 slugs through a full choke barrel.It is a Mossberg 500 pump and Remington slugs.Thanks so much for any help as I only use a rifled slug gun but this is for my son who is 8 years old. Mike

yes my son ( which is 7) uses the slugs in his mossberg and in his nef with no prob. imo it is a good starter for small kids. the only bad thing is the range is only about 40 50 yards. just make sure it is legal in your state.


if they would ever make a rifiled barrel for the 410 i think it would be a darn good shooter

Shot 410 slug through aH&R shotgun shotgun with a aim point on it. Set the rig up for my kid as a50 yard deer gun when we didn't have anything else. 6 inch group at 50 yards free handed. Never got to shoot at deer with it but it did ok on paper and was cheap to put together because I didn't have to buy anything I didn't already have and recoil wasn't to much for the little ones.

Mine shoots good with that combo i got mine from a guy from work,i told him the only way i would buy it
