I get the NRA American Rifleman, but the only magazine I subscribe to is The Backwoodsman. I have subscribed the last 3 years, and I read every issue cover to cover..literally.

The best gun magazines and the best hunting magazines are not the same magazine! I like the RIFLE and HANDLOADER mags from Wolf Publishing in AZ for gun info, and the North American Hunter mag. from the N.A. Hunting Club for hunting articles andnews.

if you like all types of hunting, then you need Sports Afield. it is by far the best hunting magazine out there, IMO. it has excellent articles every issue that comes out. i absolutely love the magazine. this magazine typically targets alot of african hunting and any North american big game hunting. it is just a real good magazine.
