My Christmas present. Weatherby Vanguard in 300 Wby. Mag. I picked it out for that very purpose one day.

.308 Winchester. It is extremely accurate in my old Savage model 99, and I have killed an elk dead in its tracks at 200 yards.

My Savage 110L in 30-06 or my SS A-Bolt 270 loaded with 150gr CTs if it's raining hard. It's a coin toss.

Never been, but if I ever get to...either my MRI .270 Win, Ruger 7mm Rem Mag, or Model 70/Christensen .375 H&H (if I ever get it together).

LH Weatherby MarkV in a Brown Precision fiberglass stock. Cartridge is 340 Wby., with a 250 grain Sierra bullet. DEADLY. Tom.

My elk rifle is just my hunting rifle. I use it for everything. Remington 700 CDL in 30-06.
