.357 sighting in
 
was wondering where i should zero my .357 if i am only shooting out to 50 yds? thanks

Sight it in at 25 yards and you'll still be pretty daggone close at 50 yards away, especially with faster loadings.

Is this a rifle or pistol? What are you shooting with it?

I favor an optimal sight-in for hunting rifles. A zero of 100 or even 125 may be right for a 357 rifle. That will put you maybe 3" or so high at 75, I'm really not sure. The goal is sight in to allow a center of mass POA out to the maximum point blank range. That's fine for hunting.

If you are shooting targets and want precision then this approach may not be for you.
