remington 870sps
Has anyone used the Remington 870, sps rifled slug gun it has a cantilever mount and comes in all black. Cost and overall perfomance feedback please. recomendations of similar guns would also be helpful thanks Steve Trust in God to look after our Troops...

If you are going to own gun with a cantileavered scope you will need a spare barrel for Pheasant,Rabbit etc. I have a Rem 870 Fitted with a scope and use it often. I also have an 1100 with The barrel you described also synthetic stock and love it. Also Alot less kick when sighting in, as the weight of the gun and action absorb most of the recoil. If your not a Husky kinda guy I would go with the 1100 as it will make it easier on you if you have to take a second shot. I also have a spare barrel for that gun to use on Birds. By having extra barrels it makes it easier hunting with the family rather than Buying Different guns for Different occasions.
