weatherby vangaurd compact
 

Wondering if anyone has any info on these I have been reading up on these and they come with a youth stock and a adult stock. also the howa 2n1 youth rifle has same 2 stock deal for around same price.Thinking one of these in 243win would be agood christmas present for my son.

We bought one of the Weatherby Vangaurds with both the youth stock and adult stock for my daughter last year for Christmas, she was 15 at the time and we went with the 7mm-08, my thought was she could grow with the rifle and the 7mm-08 does not have much kick, but could still be used for larger game. So far she loves it and actually got her first deer last month with it. What I have shot with it just messing around, I have no complaints, it is a solid rifle.

Thanks for info sounds good.also looked at a mossberg youth rifletoday really nice little gun anyone know who makes mossberg rifles for them
