Do I want accutrigger?

The accutrigger isn't a bad trigger for a factory trigger. I still prefer the older remington 700 triggers.
Tikka triggers are amazingly good. So are the single set triggers on the CZ rifles.
Also i dont know what your budget is but Tikka T3's have the best trigger out on a factory rifle right now and at $550 you cant beat it. Mine is extremely accurate.

I love the accutrigger. I think its real crisp no creep and it really helps you're accuracy. It did take a little getting used to but now im sold on it. Mine came factory set at 3lb which is where I like my trigger anyways so I never even bothered to try and adjust it. I'll probably never own another gun but a savage. I'm extremly impressed.

While the accutrigger is a good idea,it's the rifle version of a glock safe action trigger designed for the masses thus is idiot-resistant. No offense to anyone by that-what I'm saying is it's thebest setup for most hunters that don't intend to have to incur the expense of a professional trigger job. It IS excellent in that it does what it was designed to do. I prefer a glass smooth light conventional trigger break or a canjar single set trigger myself. The best factory triggers I've seen is the 3 lever triggers and the set trigger offered on the CZ.
Note however that I've been in the gun business a long time and of course do all the work myself, thus I usually "upgrade" my firearms to the max.
