Default ANY .22 RIFLE SHOOTERS HERE

Been thinking about a Lever Action....Marlin 39a, Henry Carbine

or Possibly a magazine fed bolt action....something from Savage...or Marlin

I think the Lever action/open sightwould be hard to beat for fun factor.....
and that the Bolt action/scope combo would be great for some longer shots/head shooting squirrel's and Rabbits

what do you guys shoot and why?
also ive heard about a gun maker named CZ but i cant find any consistant pricing/dealersfor their guns.
guys seem to like them.

A Marlin 39A is hard to bet. They are very accurate and a lot of fun to shoot. I have a Marlin bolt action as well.

I'm a big fan of the Ruger 10/22. The stock rifle is pretty accurate, and aftermarket upgrade parts are fairly inexpensive and can turn a decent shooting .22 into an real tack driver.

Is there anyone here who doesn't have a .22LR?

Before you make a decision you need to check out the CZ's. I've got a CZ 453 with the single set tirgger and it is absolutely outstanding. It is every bit as accurate as the Anschutz 1416D I used to have.

Here is a pic of mine. It's wearing a Burris 4-12 compact scope w/target knobs. Excellent for making those head shots.

And as I mentoned earler......it is very accurate: (The white circles are 1/2" diameter)

Check out these guys for CZ pricing. This is who I bought my gun from

Another vote for the 10/22 here. I have one that is 14 years old, shot thousands of rounds and still works as well as it ever has

Ruger 10-22 is very hard to beat, and you won't go wrong with it.
