RE: ANY .22 RIFLE SHOOTERS HERE
I like my Ruger 10/22. I have a Simmons 3x9x32mm scope on it and have since I got it brand new probably 4 years or so ago. It's very accurate at 50 yards. Haven't sighted it in for 100 so not sure about that.

I have a Henry lever- I love that little thing! 10-22s are nice if you can get past the short length of pull and that terrible factory trigger...

cool guys keep up the responses i like hearing what people have to say and seeing the pics.
id like to add that i dont really want to spend too much more than $400....
i would get the Henry but i heard about some plastic partson it?????....and that kindof turns me off.
Also Mossberg makes a lever that goes for under 4bills with a 18 inch barrel
with the bolt action ive seen a few that are Tube fed instead of Magazine .....What would be better????
i like the Ideas behind both the Lever action(fun) and the Bolt action(accuracy)....i just cant make my mind up.

Get a ruger 10/22 if you want a lifetime of fun in a semiauto. The best lever action choices would be almost impossible to choose between the browning BL22 (my pick) with it's short lever throw,or the classic marlin 39A. To me,the henry isn't even in the running due to it's pot metal (zinc) reciever construction with reciever cover-sorry kids-I've already seen too many come in shop already-no matter how smooth operating they are. In a bolt action,I really LOVE my kimber of oregon (old REAL kimber) with 3 digit serial number. To my understanding, cooper is the "new" kimber(in quality). There are so many good .22 bolt actions on the market,it becomes a lot harder to make blanket reccomendation.

If you like the nostalgia of a lever action you might want to check out the Browning too. Although the Marlin and Henry are nice. The Henry has the slickest action I've ever felt on a lever.

I looked at CZ website and they make a 16inch barrel model 452 american that id be interested it.....but it doesnt have sights and the end of the barrel is threaded....
im in ILlinois and i know that a supressor is illegal (pretty sure anyway)...
Is having a threaded barrel illegal??? i cant find any language that says it is or isnt.
id like to have the full stock model with a 16 inch barrel that would be sweet.......if i go open sights ithink id likea shorter Barrel.
