glock
i am thinking about buying a glock. I have wanted one since i was a kid.
I am thinking about the glock 17. I am thinking about going with the 9mm for the cheaper shooting and high cap.. I looked at the 45. but the feel did not seem right just alittle to wide even as big as i am. A friend has one and told me to go for the night sights but i am thinking spend the extra bucks and go with crimson trace laser grips do they work good on the glocks. |

As to the the question about night sights or laser grips. As a LEO I have been using night sights for several years now. They are simple and I have not seen any problems with them. If you plan on using the firearm as a defensive weapon then night sights would be my personal preference. |
RE: glock
I held the compact at gander for my hands it seemed alittle two small. I do not plan to carry it concealed more of a home defense gun. If i need to take it out of the house i do not think i will need to worry about it being concealed. This will be a home gun. Plus i am a big guy and have plenty of room to hide the thing.

RE: glock
I've carried a 23 for about 5 years...I prefer a .40 over a 9mm...

RE: glock
If you don't want a Glock don't shoot one.;)I went with a Model 20 in 10mm.Love it.Just for S&G, I put the Lasermax internal laser in it.Works well.If you get a glock and are interested in the internal I have a site where you can get them for about $250.00 instead of $350.00.

RE: glock
ya i have it down to either a berreta m9 navy. the glock or i am thinking since it is more for home defense and so on a ar15 might not be a bad idea. I plan to move out int he country in the next few years so it might come in real handy out there.

RE: glock
I have a G17 and a G19 and sold my brother my G23, and I love them all. I am a better shot with the 17, but I prefer to carry the 19.
I don't see where you can go wrong with ANY Glock, but I still won't part with my Sig and H&K. |
