Default RE: How much eye relief for muzzle loader?

Thanks for the replies and opinions.

I remember a couple of you said something about ML's not kicking the same as high powered rifles.

I have a question about. I said in my original post that I would be shooting a smokeless muzzle loader. So if you ask me, I don't think it will kick like a muzzleloader, I think it will kick like a high powered rifle. I'm going to charge it with 43 grains of IMR sr4759.

I believe this will end up kicking just like a rifle, not anything like a muzzle loader, but Im not sure. Would anyone disagree with that?

I plan on buying a scope with MORE eye relief, but just in case I came across one with only three inches that I like (and I have come across several with only three), I wanted to know if I would be able to safely shoot it.

Once again, thanks for the replies.
