My new Rifle ,,,
 

Just picked up my new Browning BAR Short Trac tonight ,
Ended up getting the 270 wsm .
Picked up a box of Fusion 150 grain and a box of Winchester BST to try .
He gave me 2 boxes of the Winchesters for $ 30.00 . Not bad ..
I havent looked at the manual yet , but I noticed it comes with a few different spacers to adjust the drop , etc.
Anyone ever adjust theres ??
Also bought the weaver 54s mounts .
Directions on the package says to grind down the screws on front sight .
Only problem , doesnt say how much to take off ???
I,ll have to call Weaver I guess ,,
O,h eno other thing .
I see it has a stud swivle on the rear stock , In the front forarm theres what looks like the gas relif ??
Or am I mistaken and its the sling swivle anchore ??
Not sure why it would be drilled with 4 holes in it ??
