You made a good choice. A friend of mine has a 116 in .270 Win and she can shoot the lights out. We bought a replacement trigger for her, but when I went to install it, found I could adjust her trigger to shoot very well.

I could probably stand to take that trigger down a 1/2#, but I' m getting a nice squeeze on it right now and I' m making a clean pull, so for hunting, the 3 3/4# is probably not to bad.

I here of a lot of these Savages being shooters, but I think mine looks pretty sharp as well.
