Double Rifle Case - Pelican
 

Bought a double rifle case, pelican.

Love the case, minus the fact that if you want to fit 2 magnum scoped rifles in it, somethings either gotta touch or leave very little than the 1" they suggest between gun/case, and gun/gun.

For 2 regular scoped rifles it'll probably work fine, and even 1 regular and 1 magnum, but 2 magnums, somethings gotta give.

By magnum, I mean 26" barrel.

In the future, I suppose I'll have to use my aluminum case, though I don't think that is much better as far as fit goes, or just pack in 2 seperate rifle cases.

Another inch on every side would make this thing roomie.

Am I the only guy that likes to bring a back up rifle on a hunt? Or if a father/son pack together etc...?

I don't think I'm asking for too much. Perhaps this will find its way to Pelican and they'll create the "double magnum rifle case".

Maybe its a sign, saying *magnum* not necessary. haha.

But for real, say you were going to Africa or somewhere else where you need a really big rifle, and then something for everything else but still a magnum. Who wants to take 2 rifle cases?

I can get 2 rifles in there, its the biggest one they make....double rifle case....

fitting 2 magnum rifles would be cutting it close....

it'll fit 2 rifles w/o worry, or 1 mag and 1 regular, but 2 mags puts yoru rifles very close to the edges of the case, with little foam between them and the case.

they just need to make a case 2" longer, 2" wider....
