.The local shop has a encore pistol,12, 44 rem mag,with a 2.5-4 power tasco scope,weaver rings and bases,..price $349..plus tax.Question????is that to high of a price????:)?????

Not a bad price if in very good condition. You can find frames in the $200-225 price range, with new barrels running about $195. Most dealers I've seen are asking $425 and up for Encore packages. I'd lose the Tasco, but the Weaver bases and rings have value.

Sounds like a good price to me, i just priced out a new 12 inch encore with the 410/45 barrell and it was 417 plus tax. Thats the only place ive found that cheap, everyone else wants 500 bucks.
