Henry Golden Boy

I got a Henry Golden Boy in a .22 caliber last year for Christmas. I love it! It shoots great groups, It is a very good looking gun, and it'sa blast to shoot. Does any one else out there shoot or own one and love it?

As much asI like the lever actions I just cannot warm up to the blingy ones all brass and shiney. Even being a big fan of the classic firearm styles of the early American times I can't get excited about the brassy ones. I'm very sure they're fantastci firearms and shoot quite well. Just too darn flashy. What another has for opinions of a particualr firearm though is moot so long as the rightful owner enjoys it!
I do need a nice lever gun in .22lr and may have to look at the Henry stuff. Need something for the boy to learn on in the spring. Thanx for putting that idea in my head.

Had one in 17 hmr. Good little gun and it did shoot good groups. The problem that I had with mine and another buddy of mine had with his 22 was that it wasn't bored correctly and so jambed quite a bit. I think I shot maybe 200 rounds over the course of two years because of it and then traded it off.

My Son has one and its the smoothest cycling lever action I have ever worked the lever on. The stock is awesome as isthe bluing. Made in the USA what more could you want?
