A friend of mine recentlyasked me to look at inexpensive bolt action rifles with him, knowing I have more experience. We looked at the Remington 770, Savage 111, and the Weatherby Vanguard. I wouldn't embarrass a canoe by using the 770 for a paddle.I liked theVanguard the best.
