Tikka T3. They have the same 1 moa guarantee that the Weatherby Sub-MOA have and are around $550 new. I got a T3 Lite Stainless in 300 WSM for $608 last fall. it has a very smooth action and a great trigger.

I know they're not for everybody, but some people (myself included) really love the accu-trigger on the Savages. I bought a Weather Warrior 7mm-08 a few months ago and couldn't be happier. Good luck.

I have a Vanguard in 7mm RM. I love it! I shouldered all the rifles mentioned and the Vanguard felt the best. I would suggest you do the same. They are all great rifles. Find the one that suits you!

Skip the 770 its a 710 with a new stock and a huge mistake by Remington.
Sholder every rifle you can and see what fits you best. The Tikka that everyone is suggesting is a great gun I was thinking about getting one but when I put it on my shoulder it just didn't feel right. That is why shouldering a gun and finding the right fit is important. The rifle should have a natural point of aim and and feel like a piece of your arm.

I paid $550 or so for my used Browning BAR in 30-06 in really good shape. Now this was a year and a half ago. It had a few small knicks and one about the size of a big pin in diameter other than that in great shape. I'd say 95% or so maybe 90%. I really like it. I don't know that I ever want to buy anything else used again but not really because of this rifle. I really like it.
Now I say $550 or so because they were asking $550 for the gun and like $220 or 230 or something for the scope. I ended up buying both at the same time and getting them down to $750 for the scope and rifle and tax included.I can't say I really like the Leuopold scope but I do really like the rifle. Seems to group about 1" or so at 50 yards. Some holes will cut in the others some will be right next to it but that may be me.
The only complaint is it gets hot after 2 shots or so and you have to wait for it to cool down. If you shoot once or twice then wait for it to cool it's a pretty accurate gun. I shoot once then let it cool as you don't have to wait as long in between shoots as you do if you fire two.
