H & R YOUTH RIFLES

I just recently discovered H&R rifles. Growing up as a kid my first shotgun was a H&R .410. It is a great little gun.It taught me to really concentrate on the one shot.
Anyone had expierence with these rifles? I thought this would be a great deer gun in 7mm-08 for my 9 year old in a couple more years.
Thanks!

My son had the 243/20 combo. It was a bery good starter gun. If you get it just go ahead and have the chamber polished. Most don't eject until you do.

they are good little performers. i only wish they would add a safety to the side of the action like the new rossi break opens. i think its hard for a youngster to learn the hammer let down procedure. pulling the trigger while letting the hammer down to me is kinda dangerous for a youngster.
