What makes these savage rifles different?

Why are there so many Mark II versions? They are all very similar, but priced differently. I would like to get the cheaper one but don't know what I'd be missing from the higher priced ones other than maybe a scope like the Savage Mark II XP (scroll down).

Different Calibers, different barrells as in one is "bull barrell" which is more for target shooting vs the ligher field/hunting barrell, stainless steel vs blued, bolt/semi, etc.

those .22s are basically all the same , cant you see the differences yourself, they are obvious. Blued barrell vs stainless, sythetic stocks vs wood or laminated wood, target vs hunting etc etc.

Yes. I can read, but it seemed so obvious and I am so inexperienced that I wanted a second opinion from those more knowledgeable than me. I have an opportunity to purchase one, but it is $339 with a scope. I know there are ones that are other Mark II Savages, but I didn't want to miss something by buying the $230 model instead of the higher priced one. I believe it is just the camo and scope on the one I was looking at that made it higher instead of any real rifle functionality.
