help needed....

Im in the market for a new shotgun i wanna spend $500-800 but i'm not finding anything i like or have heard bad about.. Here is what i want needs to shoot 3.5in(not a must but would love it) 26-28" and possibly camo... I had a Stoeger 2000 last yr had it 3 weeks and sold it due to constant jamming.
All shotguns i'm lookin at are 800-1000. here are a few i have found feel good when coming up too the shoulder
1. Browning Silver
2. Benelli M2

Anyone have any insight on others i might wanna look at. If i wasnt buying a new rifle i would hav eno issuse spending $1000-1500 on a shotgun.
thanks
Gary

If you are looking for an autoloader, you will have few to pick from that will do 3.5" and are $500.00 - $800.00.

Mossberg 935 is a solid gun, as is the Remington 11-87 Super Mag. They may come in at the above price range.

The most popular 3.5" guns I used to sell were the Benelli SBEII and the Beretta Extrema II, unfortunately, they are expensive.

I feel that you should always buy the gun that fits the best not the brand I like (Beretta). If the Browning or the M2 fit then jump on them. If I needed to pick I would go with the M2. I like the Benelli recoil system and can not afford to feed a 3.5".

Just my $.02

Let us know what you get and post pics.

As much as you think that you want a 3.5" chamber,it really isn't necessary, even for geese.Personally,I would go with a Browning silver because they fit me very well.

After talking to my dealer today the stoeger i had last yr was a lemon, So my toss up at the moment is the Stoeger 2000 in max 4 or the franchi I-12 in Max4
$499-$769

gg,

I must say, I shot the browning silver last weekend at my brothers house, and was absolutely amazed with it. Shooting some backyard clay pigeons, I honestly hit 28 out of 30, even allowing the clays to get "way out there" on occaision before pulling the trigger. I usually shoot with a pump and am lucky to hit 65% of my shots. I guess I now understand what a proper fitting shotgun feels like. Talk about confidence when every clay is turning to powder. I realise 1 day of shootingdoes not makea completegun review, but can say I would love to have one myself.

Regards,

Kej
