Thompson Center Encore

I have the original encore and i just ordered a 223 barrle for it. When i got it i noticed it was a prohunter barrel instead of the original encore barrel. The prohunter barrel is 28" so i was wanting to know if a original forend will still fit the prohunter barrel or will i have to order the prohunter forend. I saw that the original encore only comes in 24" and 26". If anyone knows about this please let me know ASAP. thanks.

If they are both standard contour then the forearm will fit. If they are different contours then it will not fit. The length is of no consequence. Tom.
