RE: Ithaca 270 bolt action question

I have an Ithaca LSA65 in 30/06, also it was available in an LSA55 version which had a less fancy stock. I think these rifles were made by Tikka, but I can't be sure.
The scope mount came with my gun from the factory. It is a mounting base and ring made as a unit and very strong, clearly marked TIKKA.
I purchased my rifle 35 years ago and it has a home as long as I live. I can't recall how many deer it has taken, over a hundred I'm sure.

I would imagine a Tikka made like that will last several lifetimes.
