RE: Favorite Gun
I'm most proud of the Enfield Eddystone in .30-06 that my great grandpappy passed down to me years ago...from WWII. My favorite gun to shoot is a toss up between my Franchi Renaissance O/U in 12/28 and my 7mm-08 Remington.

RE: Favorite Gun
I love all my guns and have confidence in every one.
My H&R Ultra Slug 12 Gauge is my favorite. It just never misses deer.
L8Ker...I'm packing for Gaylord. Sal and I are going riding on some trail heads...be back early Monday...lets hit the range again....soon!
Is it true....am I missing something? I saw (In my guns and ammo mag.) a 44 mag. Hornady 225 grain bullet that runs 1850fps? WOW!! Not sure if it was the leverlution...it had the red teflon tip.

RE: Favorite Gun
My favorite is my old Marlin .30-30 rifle. There is just something about rifle. Sure, there are hundreds of other rifles that can outperform it. But it just has some strange kind of historical vibe to it when you pick it up. It's classic and just feels right when you shoulder it. I can literally shut my eyes... shoulder the old .30-30... open my eyes... and I'm always looking straight down the iron sights, every time. I can't bring myself to slap a scope on it. I keep it traditional for close in work in the heavy brush. For longer distances, I use my 10 year old Savage 110 in .308 w/scope.
