ffl ?'s
was wondering if you need an ffl to ship and receive ammo

RE: ffl ?'s
I dont think so but check with a firearm dealer to be sure.

RE: ffl ?'s
Depends on state and local laws. Most of the country you can mail order ammo through companies like Midway, Cabelas, Natchez's and Sportman's Guide.

Don't ship it thru the Post Office they won't take it . Adult signature requred via UPS. That was the caselast time I shipped Ammo to someone and they lived in Texas.

RE: ffl ?'s
I just went thru this a couple of months ago...never again. Shipping ammo is a big PITA. UPS is a no go. FedEx won't touch it unless you have some sort of HAZMAT clearance certification. UPS can do it, but you may have to go to a large distribution place rather than your local outlet. It also has to have a special label affixed. Half of the goof ball employees freak out and refuse to accept it. Check the UPS website.

RE: ffl ?'s
I have yet to have a problem with UPS when ordering from Midway or Cabelas. They can and will take it, it just can't be shipped by air. That's like the fools at the USPS saying that they can't take a firearm. Until you show them in their own regulations that they can and will ship firearms.

RE: ffl ?'s
Nope, all one has to do is ship thru UPs. Not post office. Mark it as ORM-D with a big sqare on it.
