I've got Optilocks on my 75 and have not had any issues. They don't have Torx head screws though. Of course it's only a 30-06, but with 180 grainers it's been fine. That said, I've also heard quite a few positive remarks about Talley's on Sakos.
Talleys set screws will mess up the top of the reciever scope base checkering. One way around that is using a lead bb and then putting the screw in. I think the Leupolds QD bases(that are a Sako Knockoff BTW see above link) and Conetrols are the only suitable alternatives to Optilocks. I have been so snakebit by Talley steel bases and rings lately on other rifles that I'll probably never use them again.

The Conetrol rings and bases are an alternative that work very well in keeping the scopes mounted low but are a little tricky to install. I also have 2 sets on my Sako 75’s that look great and compliment the look of the rifles...;)
