RE: Guess what I just found??
ORIGINAL: legion I was thinking about picking up an SPR94 in .223/12 gauge. The problem is, I think they got it all wrong in that size. The .22/.410 version has the rifle barrel on top and the shotgun barrel on the bottom. The thumb switch selects which barrel you want to fire. The .223/12 gauge version has the shotgun barrel on top and the rifle barrel on bottom, and double triggers (yuck!). |
RE: Guess what I just found??
Wow, I'm in love. I think I'll buy one.
I already have a Savage 93R and love it!!! |
RE: Guess what I just found??
Glad to help. Savage quit making the 24's so you'll have get a used one. Good luck

RE: Guess what I just found??
338 - the price is $895 plus tax. It feels nice in the hands. Well balanced and light weight. I don't know if I'm going to shoot it. I've been hearing rumors that Remington only imported 500 of them in 45-70 and weren't going to bring in any more. And another thing, it camein a Remington box with the correct serial number on the label but the rifle has Baikal on the receiver and not Remington.
It will probably go into the safe along side my Ruger #1 stainless tropical .405 Win. |
