PA, of the three you metioned, I prefer the Sigs or Para guns. I don' t care for the bulky, blocky feel of the Ruger autos. I' m not a fan of " cocked and locked" , but I do like the LDA Para line. The sig 239 makes an excellent concealed carry gun.

My dad lives by his sig, I have a H&K USP .45 and it is the best gun in my opinion. I also know a couple of guys who own sigs and like them alot. I would recommend the sig out of the three you are looking at. Try a Kimber or an H&K out though!

Go in the middle and get a 40 S&W. I' ve never been much on 9mm.I carry a Glock M-27 and love it.Of course they run higher then what you want to spend.Between the 9 and 45 I would go with the 45 acp.

Ditto Ruger-Redhawk. Get a 40. If that' s not an option, get the 45. The 9 is argueably anhemic.

Just a question: Why dont you like Glocks? I didnt like them until I bought one. I had never shot one untill then, and I love mine now. Also, be careful with the PAra' s. Everyone that I have shot are made just like the colts, and are finicky about what ammo you put throught them. They need to be throated and ramped to accept semi wadcutters and some hollow points.
