Remington 870 Barrells??
 

I need to know if any barrel made for a 12 guage 870 will fit. Are they all interchangeable? I realize that the chambers are different on some, but that just means you don' t want to shoot the magnums in the 2 3/4 in. chambered receiver. But the barrel should still fit right?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hastings makes about 18 gazillion types of barrels for the Remington 870 (I have a lefty 870 too - I love it!)

Check out Cabela' s for the selection of barrels.

Somewhere in the past Rem changed the bbls. What they did was where the mag cap has a detent ball, the new ones actually use the mag spring holder thingy to hold the mag cap tight. Dunno if you understood that, but some bbls will and some wont. Rem did that so you would have to buy a new gun if you wanted certain bbls. Its all about the money!
