Briman,

No one asked if the color of the scope matched the stock / barrel. I would have asked my wife that question.

The question was is the scope too large for the rifle.

If it swings up quickly to the perfect spot for you to shoot with it, then it's beautiful! It really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks - especially those who told you not to over-scope it with a GIANT scope!

Good Luck!

Thanks Folically Challenge, I took your advice and brought my scopewith me. I held it on top as if it were mounted and it looked ok so I bought the rifle. I can't wait to shoot it.

bigcountry - the term metrosexual has been around for awhile, but the opportunity to use the word doesn't present itself often. I'm glad I providedBriman with the opportunity to use it even though he didn't interpret the original post of this thread correctly.

It's definetly bigger than what I would put on both of those rifles but I don't think they are big enough to look too out of place or "goofy".

Honestly I think that most people put too much glass on their rifles. Of course, people might look at my rifles and think that the scopes are small enough to look goofy as well.
