how to find out about a shotgun
 

I have a receiver for a shotgun. Its a pump action, older, with no markings on it other than the serial number and just before where the barrel would connect a PW in a little circle engraved in the metal. Is there any way to find out what this gun is so I can build the rest of it?

If you could post some pics it would probably speed up your responses. Or maybe even posting a drawing of the general shape ....

I'd take it to my local gun shop and ask the gunsmith if they know what it is. try Emailing shotgun manufaterers with the serial # and see if they have any info on it.
