GSG5 .22 Semi Auto... ok in NY State?

But I don't know if I'm allowed a semi-auto in New York State and I bet I'm sure not allowed the suppressor.
Have any of you used GunBroker.com? How would I get this item?

Well, the semi isn't a problem in New York, but I'm not sure about the suppressor. I'm sure if you are near the city the whole thing is a no-no. I do know a few guys with old military rifles with suppressors on them and they have never had a problem. Call your local NYS Police barracks and ask them. I am sure they will have the answer about suppressors.

Semi-autos are certaijnly still legal in NY state, but I am no sure for how much longer!! However, if by 'suppressor' you mean a silencer device, these are controlled by the Federal National Firearms Act, just like machine guns. You have to register them with the BATF and pay a hefty registration fee. In addition, I believe NY State prohibits the possession of suppressors as well as Class 3 machine guns...

IF the 'suppressor' is a phony, just for looks, it is probably OK, BUT:
