Browning BLR 22

Can anybody help me with an approximate value of a BLR 22. The gun is probably 95 % + blueing, and has a few minor handling marks in the stock ... but nothing serious. The worst thing about it is a little bit of finish is gone on the barrell band. Looks kind of silver on a bit of it.

I have one found and am trying to see what a reasonable price to give would be...

Thanks

MET

RE: Browning BLR 22

THe Browning Lever action in 22lr is known as the BL-22. Browning calls the centerfire lever actions BLR.
I have not paid more than $225 for a BL-22 but then again it has been 8 years since I purchased my last one!
Gun Digest's Modern Gun Values list the grade one as Perf $400 Exc $345 Vgood $290 and for the grade 2 Perf $475 Exc $ 420 Vgood $ 320.

I have found that prices can vary quite a bit from the book but also know some depends on where you live. The book list some guns at prices I would buy all I could find ... just remember books are guides. Gunbroker or Gunsamerica are also great places to see what a gun is worth
