Concealed Weapon-Revolver Or Semi

RE: Concealed Weapon-Revolver Or Semi
I carry a 38 revolver most of the time. My 9 mm is just to akward and heavy. I do like having 17 rounds instead of 5, so sometimes I'll carry my 9.

I have several small frame semi-autos for concealed carry to choose from. I have a few different colt .380's that I can carry too. They are the perfect size. Many will tell you that a .380 is too small, but They kill folks everyday, and 5 shots of .45 do you no good if you cant hit with it..... so to each his own. I can handle anything I need to with any of my CC guns.
The wife has a colt .380 and a Charter arms .38 snubby to choose from and or keep in her ride. She likes them both.

Pick your poison. I carry a Semi in 9mm. Some folks say for a carry / defense gun to use a revolver. If there is a misfire, just pull the trigger again, and it cycles again. Might be a plus. But for me, I will still carry a my Semi.

I have a couple Glocks that are my usual carry guns.Either a G-27or G-30.If I'm going to be carrying for long hours I'll grab the G-27 only because of the difference in weight.Size wise there isn't a nickels difference.I'll carry a revolver on occasions. I trust my Glocks and like the extra fire power opposed to the 5 or 6 shots from a revolver.

S&W Titanium Revolver. So light you do not even know it is there. 38 Special+p performance, 100% reliability. Quality all the way. I hope I never need it, but if I do I know it will do its part. Do not skimp on your carry gun. Tom.

I can go either way, I do actually prefer my Ruger GP100 3" with 38 sp +p loads for concealed carry/personal defense. When I carry my 45 which is a SA ultra compact I like the Federal 165 gr personal defense load. Sure wish they would offer the 165 gr bullet as a component. That being said I am really thinking about picking up something lighter, in .40 or 9mm. Shooting times has a pretty good write up on concealed carry auto's this month.
