Not sure yet, but most likely either the Leupold VX-III 6.5-20x50LR or the Zeiss 6.5-20x50. I'm going to check them out in person first. Even looking at that new Bushnell 6500.

Sweet rifle and every custum gun or barrel maker I have talked to all say the rem 700 is the best 100% the one to build from.

The Ackley is "blown out" by fire-forming to make a 40 degree shoulder and minimum case taper. It equals better case life, little more velocity, and its pretty cool. ;)

Congrats, jeepkid. I've head lots of good things about Kampfeld. Cool looking setup - like the stock and the fluted barrel.Love oversized/tactical bolt knobs. Not a big remington fan, but I'm guessing you're going to love that gun. Congrats again.

SWEET!!!!!!! It came in today!! It's absolutely the coolest thing I have ever saw!! The scope also made it today. Ordered the mounts tonight, once them, my Midway order and my bore guide come in I'll be able to shoot her!! CAN'T WAIT!:D:D

Well I put the Zeiss 6.5-20x50 on her and she shoots awesome!! Factory Federal 100gr soft points (fireform) put 5 shots right at an inch at 100yards. Loaded up some full power 115gr Bergers and put 3 right over 1/2" at 100. I also shot 3 95gr Ballistic tips (fireform load) at 200yards at they grouped a touch under 1/2"!! I'm super happy so far. I can't wait to load some 105 and 115 Bergers and actually test them. Richard Graves is also going to make me some 115's...:D
