1/3 the murder rate of NYC that is comparable in size. WHat they didn't mention is HANDGUNS are illegal in NYC and have been for quite awhile.

If your in a certain business that involves carrying money or valuable merchandise they give out a permit every other year. A normal citizen cannot carry or buy a handgun in city limits.

Absolutely!! The Bush Administration, aided and abetted by the incompetent ineffectives of the present Congress, have taken us closer to this than anyone since the suspension of habeas corpus by Abe Lincoln during the Civil War (War of Northern Aggression).

Itamazes methat Englishmen, in order to try to obtain a little temporary personal safety, have surrendered their age-old liberties to a usurping government. What is even more startling is that it appears that MOST Brits are just tickled to death to do so! What shrivelled lives they must live! Even the Queen can no longer ride to hounds in her own realm!

I still think its just a small% of the over al population that commits crime, and I for one would feel safer if the larger % all carried guns. Most crim is comitted by those who want the easy way to get what they want and it isn't easy to mug someone inside the gates ofa gun club. Its just plan stupid and most croks aren't studit just lazy and self centered.

What is crazy is this anti-gun view isn't supported by a single lodgical or rational evidance. And they just keep pushing it as the answer for the behavoir that some one chooses to do. They logical answer is to let would be victums to defend their selfe with effective weapons.

When crime doesn't pay it will stop. When crimials get killed comitting a crime, crime go down, and we aren't spenting money housing them in jail.Now we put them in jail but the jails aren't big enough and to costly so we let them back out to do more crime. Oh ya we also have to take away the guns that the victums carry to make this easier.

Look up the deffinission for insane its like went one continues doing the same thing over and over and expects a different outcome than what has benhappening.

Take Criminals and Criminal Law away from Cops, Lawyers, Judges, and Politicians.....and you've just shot their job security in the foot.
