My 270 Ruger back up (never been needed for other than a change) is a 243....gives some more versatility and is an very good whitetail deer gun.....

I just bought a 308 remington 7600 a few months ago. It has the carbine length barrel. I like how it handles, and it shoots really well. It may become may favorite rifle.

RE: Help with Rifle Selection.

my BAR in .270win shoots way sub-moa with factory ammo. federal 130gr, I'd say its shooting 1/2MOA or less....its been magna ported, not sure if that helped the accuracy, didn't make it worse I know that.

I was shocked when holes started touching each other.....didn't know that was possible with a semi-auto with factory ammo....think it only goes to show that trying a bunch of ammo can work magic, I'd say it will shoot just about anything under 1.5MOA, but those federal 130grs it loves.
