In my experinces, the limbsaver is a bit softer than the kick eze pads but neither one presents any problems grinding to fit with a nice finish. The pad I have had issues with is the super gooey pad from trap dude, they are simply the softest pad I have seen. They work vey well but to attract dirt/grime like nobodies business and you have to store the gun butt up due to the pad being deformed by it's own weight.
