I think if you want out-of-box accuracy from a mini-14, you need to get the new target model with theharmonic dampener. All the accounts I've seen of that indicate it's the real deal. Supposedly you can take any factory ammo and dial it in to nice tight groups with that dampener. And if that truly is the case, that'sa HUGE plus, considering how inexpensive some factory 223 ammo is.
