Encore Katihdin Barrels
 

Any opinions on the Encore 20 inch barrels, in particular the 460 S&W. Sounds like a versital barrel that can shoot 460 S&W, 454 Cassul, and 45 colt. Not sure what the accuracy potential is, and if recoil would be substancially greater. Any experience with these would be helpful...

I also have been tempted by the 460 in my Encore. I have been waiting for TC to bring out this caliber in a longer barrel. The 20" Encore just doesn't feel right to me, I need some weight out front. The 460 could be loaded up or down or just use 45 Colt ammo making this a very versitile rig. And to top it off you can use carbide dies!
