Sale at Local Outfitter(should i bite?)
I've got several price related questions for the experts here in the gun section. As some of you know i am looking for a rifle for New York Black Bear. Well the local outfitter is running a sale and i wondered what your opinions were on the prices.
They have the Savage Arms 110GBXP (non-accutrigger) in .27, 7mm Rem, and 30-06 for $369.99. They have the same rifle in 30-06 only but it comes with the Accu-Trigger for $399.99. Is the accu-trigger worth the extra $30? Are these good deals or semi-good deals?
Also lookin for a .22. They have several on sale this month. They have a Savage Arms Mark II 22LR Bolt Action for $149.99, Savage 17HMR(yes i know it's not a .22) with 3x9 scope for $199, Ruger 10/22 22LR for $189.99, and Savage Arms 64FXP .22LR with 4x15 scope for $119.99. Same as above, are these good deals or semi-good deals and are any of them something i can't pass up? Also they have the Maverick 88 12 Gauge Synthetic stock for $169 and Remington 870 for $239. I already have a Mossberg 500 that theres nothing wrong with but it's not a bad idea to have a back up gun,

I have never been disapointed with Savage firearms. They are not the fanciest out there but they are accurate and very dependable. For the money you mentioned a good deal. The accutrigger is worth the investment. Have a 30-06, 7 mm mag, .270, 7-08, and .22 savage and have never had a problem with any of them.

Savage makes one of the best factory rfifles out there. They're not flashy and show-off rifles. They're working guns. Is the $30 worth it for the Acutrigger? That's up to you. Can't say I'd worry about $30but I guess some would.

For bear I'd lean towards the .30-06, but you can't go wrong with any of them.
I've never shot a gun with any trigger stuff everyone talks about being so great...
Never missed any game either!!!
$30 isn't a ton of money, but I don't think it helps you shot any better once your comfortable with your weapon.

I have a Savage 114 Amercian Classic in 300wm. Get the accu trigger you won't be sorry. It is a very nice trigger. Isn't the GPXB the package gun? I think I would check on the price for the gun without the scope and by my own scope.
