Advice for new 12ga Semi?
 

I' m sure this has been addressed in the past, but...........

I' m looking to buy a 12ga Semi-Auto that will serve as turkey, waterfowl and also have a slug barrel to use for deer if I want to hunt here in southern Michigan. I would like to get something with a camo finish but don' t necessarily need the 3 1/2 inch capabilities.....not ruling out an SBE, but don' t NEED the 3 1/2 chamber. Suggestions?

Does Franchi make a slug barrel for the 612?

i think two of the best all around semi autos with the capabilties you mentioned are the rem 1100 and the rem 1187.for the money you can' t beat them.

another vote for the remington 1100.the only remington i would ever buy again. reliable.

if you ever get one. i have a 21" rifled barrel with iron sights for sale.

Clattin,I don' t have mine yet but, leaning toward the Remington 1187 SPS cantilever deer gun. I been reading alot of good stuff about them. I' ll be picking up one this spring. Also read some good things about the Benelli-Super Black Eagle. I live in Monroe and hunt Calhoun Co.
