What kind of Targets do you use?

I've been using paper and clays set against a backstop mostly. I was getting a little bored when I saw an ad for a pinwheel type that held replacable "clays". turns out these clays are pretty expensive soI came up with my own contraption.I made it out of stuff I had laying around and it can hold regular 'inexpensive" clays.

Depends on what kind of shooting I'll be doing. If I'm plinking....wait, I never plink! I always try and see how close I can stack 'em. I usually shoot at 1" spots on a sheet of paper or something. If I'm shooting my .22's I'll put 'em at 50 yards. If I'm shooting something bigger I'll go to 100 yards usually. Nice job by the way!

I have an endless supply of prairie dogs at my disposal....to date I have not found any target that has the same appeal. They are reactive, multi-distant, biodegradable, self-uprighting and generally very cooperative. Paper targets are none of those things..........

I paste black Shoot & See target bulls of the appripriate size, depending on range, on targets with 1" grid patterns.I can judge both group size and point of impact location from the same target.

I not sure of the correct site, but go to google and type in free targets. I believe the site is targetz.com but not sure. They have loads of different ones to choose from.

if I read it right. cut card board to target size you want, some type of color paper, plastic wrip, and black spray paint.
glue the paper to the card board, wrap in the plastic tape the plastic, spray paint the plastic wrap.
I have not done it myself YET. I am going to try red too. just got the stuff. I have been using free targets from the site bronko posted. as well as the champion shoot n see type targets. and the basic 5 target sight in.
