I've been lusting after a stainless 45-70 #1 for some reason. I don't really have a need for it, but I just want it

I have one that was a "Limited" run available only through Ruger Gold Labeldealers. It's a 45/70 S/S with a green laminated stock. Really a nice rifle and shoots real good.At 100 yards I could cover the group with a quarter.

Never heard of such a thing and I've played the ruger thing for quyite a while. It's a "green" laminate? Many of the black/grey lamintes occasionally appear greenish in color due to the dying. A lot had this during the wakmart stainless/laminates of the 10/22 and 10/22 RSI years back. Could you provide pictures and maybe some documentation on this? I
I'm curious.

Maine Shooter,This rifle does appear to have a green tint to it. It could very well be like you say the dye. I haven't handled this rifle in a couple years and I always took it for a green laminate. It does have some grayish /blackwith a green tint.. I might have been mistaken. If I have time later today I'll try and post a picture.
