Oldelk,

What is an Icon?

Great to see your not a marketing tool like a lot of guys are . It's the overhyped bolt action that TC is trying to sell.

1/2 credit award for incomplete answer.

The correct answer is:

It's the overhyped, overpriced, heavy piece of garbage that TC is trying to sell.

When they first announced it, the MSRP was $800 wich would put the street price in the $600-650 range, roughly. And then when S&W acquired TC, they change that nice rifle into the garbage you see today. The dealer I frequent has had one for quite a while now. HE doesn't even try to sell it. Something about he doesn't have much of a concience, but even he couldn't sleep at night knowing someone got that screwed.

What all did they change on it besides the price? Anything?

Not much if anything was changed when S&W bought them ..they did borrow that Clever design for their own beautiful bolt gun.

Can I get one with spinners?

Yeah that is the 1 out of 20 flash series ICON they are selling. It might be collectible

What TC lacks in workmanship, they make up in marketing savvy.
